Why I'm Coming Out of the Intuitive Closet in My Business

Taking a deep breath and allowing the words to flow through my fingers, trusting that they are divinely guided. Trusting that my guides and divine source is entrusting me with the words to share that will inspire thought, emotion and a recognition of yourself.

Taking a deep breath and allowing the words to flow through my fingers, trusting that they are divinely guided. Trusting that my guides and divine source is entrusting me with the words to share that will inspire thought, emotion and a recognition of yourself.

I trust this process implicitly. Why? Because I know that I am guided. Not just a cool FB post to inspire people to have a warm moment. But as a way of life.

Earlier this year I traveled to San Francisco to meet with my mastermind group. These are women I had only known online and through our group sessions. I knew enough about them to realize that we all had some beautiful things in common. We are passionate about our work, we're passionate about being mamas, and we're passionate about being of highest service in our lives. But I had NO idea how this gathering would rock my world in so many ways.

Our host and fearless leader brought this group together through a process of her own divine guidance. And as each one of us casually shared how we got to the place of saying YES to this group and to investing in ourselves at this level, we all had this beautiful thread of intuition and divine guidance. I began to recognize myself in the stories of these amazing women.

The first night, we were blessed with a guest that would help us set the intention for our weekend that would prove to be exactly what we needed and what would turn into pure magic. The guest was Lissa Rankin, New York Times best-selling author of Mind Over Medicine. When Lissa shared her spiritual journey something shifted in me that is coming into more and more life each day. Mind Over Medicine is all about Lissa's learning "how to listen to your body's 'whispers' before they turn to life-threatening 'screams' that can be prevented with proper self-care, and you'll learn how to trust your inner guidance when making decisions about your health and your life." This is how I live my life. This is how I've ALWAYS lived my life.

I've done everything from move across the country by myself, buy a house in one day, choose my food, and make daily decisions from my intuition. I have always had an innate sense of the energy of things and people round me. I've been able to trust myself in the face of external doubt because I can hear the voice of guidance loud and clear. And I trust that this voice is a combination of my guides, divine source and my own highest self. I've had mystical experiences, moments of joy that brings waves of tears so powerful because I can recognize the hand of the divine on my shoulder.

Over the years, I've shared my experiences with a few people in my life. These days, I've gathered circles of women around me who are so open and present to this intuitive guidance. This mastermind weekend was no exception. The swirling of divine inspiration was all around us. I won't share any of the intimate details, because those are for us to hold in our hearts. But the trail of magic follows us even into this moment. We are forever connected and open in new ways.

For me, accepting this role and this journey means that I am stepping into my role as a spiritual intuitive not only in my life, but in my work. My clients get hints of this within our conversations. As I call in guidance before each call, I am able to offer exactly the words they need to hear. As I prepare custom guided meditations, I am able to call in the exact imagery and words that their spirit needs to tap into.

So what does this have to do with my business?

As I walk through each area of my business, I can trust deeply that I am guided. I can choose the fonts, the colors, the clients and projects that my heart and intuition lean towards. I can rest in knowing that my self-care rituals are key to my spiritual journey because ultimately my self-care routine creates space for my guidance to emerge. It's in the silence and stillness that guidance can arise. It's in honoring myself, my journey and my own unique path that I can have full and complete faith that even if my choices don't resonate with you, it's okay. Because we each have a path to walk

As I continue on this spiritual intuitive path in business and life, I will continue to be authentic and share my journey. I know that it will not resonate with everyone, but that's okay. I hope I can plant a seed of inspiration and invite you to explore your own unique path and walk it with the faith and knowing that it's leading you where you need to go.
