I have a daughter who is 14 months old.
I have a son who is 5 years old.
I want my son to follow his dreams.

I want my son to do well in school.

I want my son to believe he can be the next President of the United States.

I want my son to fight for what he believes in.

I want my son to play professional sports if he is good enough.

I expect a lot out of my son.

I want my son to be safe and will do everything I can in this world to make it better.
I want my daughter to be safe and will do everything I can in this world to make it better.
I love them both with all of my heart.
See, I know there is a difference between men and women. I am smart enough to know that there is a difference between boys and girls...
But when it comes to any political, economic or social issue...
That difference should make no difference.
I want my daughter to have every opportunity my son has.
Not more. Not less. Equal.
That is feminism. It is not about feeling one sex deserves more.
It is realizing that both sexes deserve the same treatment and doing things to make sure that happens.
There should be no controversy if you are one or not.
