Gay Pride Parade's New Route Worries West 9th Residents

For 39 years, the Pride March celebrating the city's gay population had made its way to the heart of Greenwich Village by way of West Eighth Street. It made its debut one year after the Stonewall riots, and it has become a colorful annual Village tradition.
