They say you can speak things into existence. So, fingers crossed -- I'm sharing 10 specific things I definitely want to do before I leave this little world, and I won't quit until I cross every single one of these off my list.
1. Sit in the "end of the world swing" at Casa del Arbol in Ecuador.

I do not swing on swings often, but when I do, I will sit on this one at the "end of the world."
2. Learn how to surf in Hawaii.

I've never been to Hawaii. I've never learned how to surf. Whether it's after I retire or within the next few years, I'll be moving to Hawaii for a few months to learn how to surf.
3. Sit on the tippy top of Trolltunga in Norway.

Norway is home to some of the most famous cliffs in the world, but Trolltunga is completely one of a kind. I'll be here to soak in the sun, catch a breath after a long hike and let my feet hang off the very tip of this badboy.
4. Take a hot air balloon ride at sunset in Cappadocia, Turkey.

One of the most scenic places to take a hot air balloon ride is Cappadocia in Turkey, and I hope to experience this one day.
5. Light a Khom Loi at the Yi Peng festival in Mae Cho, Chiang Mai

Every year, hundreds of lanterns are lit and float into the sky in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the Yi Peng festival.
6. Dive off a cliff.

...pretty much anywhere.
7. Witness the Northern Lights.

It'll be bitter cold outside but this - seeing this in person would be well worth any cold.
8. Canoe through the Melissani Cave in Greece.
photo: pinterest
It's only fair that one of the most beautiful caves in Greece be explored intimately by canoe.
9. Take a month long cruise around the Mediterranean.
photo: pinterest
One day I'm going to book a cruise with Thomson Cruises for 24 nights, and sail through Turkey, Greece, Malta, Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria in one big swoop.
10. Slip into the glass skywalk on a mountain peak in Chamonix, France
photo: pinterest
Chamonix is a popular ski resort town in the French Alps. They built a glass skybox at a peak, and they'll make you wear slippers when stepping into it. I don't mind slippers, and I definitely don't mind stepping into a glass box built on top of a mountain.
So, would you come with me?
