Kanye West Tells The Media To 'Pick Another Target'

Kanye West's impassioned speeches have become a legendary part of his Yeezus tour. His stop in Brisbane, Australia, was no exception.

According to those in attendance, the 37-year-old rapper reportedly unloaded on the media in a five-minute rant, during which he declared, "I'm a married, Christian man with a family, pick another target."

West was, of course, referring to criticism of his latest snafu in Sydney, when he demanded that a wheelchair-bound audience member rise to his feet to dance. West would not continue his performance until everyone in attendance was standing up. It was an incident the rapper reportedly described as "bullshit blown out of proportion" during the rant in Brisbane on Sept. 15.

West, however, did seem to learn from the Sydney debacle. According to the Australian newspaper the Courier Mail, he was more cautious in his demand for the crowd to rise to their feet this time around.

“Everybody who is not in a wheelchair or handicapped will stand up,” he told the Brisbane audience. “If you can not prove to me that you are in a wheelchair you need to be standing, if you can it is okay to sit down.”
