Beyoncé, Jay Z, Prince, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Lil Wayne, T.I.: It reads like a list of some of the most successful musical artists working today, or perhaps of our dream guest stars for an upcoming season of "Empire." In fact, though, it's the beginning of the lineup for a charity concert taking place in Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Oct. 20.

The concert, which is called TIDAL X: 1020, is being thrown by the new music streaming service TIDAL, which is co-owned by a group of artists that includes Jay Z, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj. Jay Z announced on Tuesday that 1 million people have now subscribed to the service, which emphasizes high-fidelity music and costs between $10 and $20 per month.

Tickets for TIDAL X: 1020 go on sale Sept. 30 at 12 p.m. ET for Tidal members and on Friday, Oct. 2, at 12 p.m. ET for the general public. Ticket prices range from $74 to $244, and 100 percent of proceeds from the pre-sale will go to the TIDAL X FUND at New World Foundation. And if you can't score a ticket, the event will still be live-streamed on TIDAL and available to non-members.

In all, more than 20 acts will be performing at the concert, which looks to be the most star-studded charity concert in years. (And it even puts this year's Coachella lineup to shame.) Besides those already named, the lineup includes Damien Marley, Indochine, and Thomas Rhett.
