"If you are a creative person, you try to create things that are an extension of yourself" - professed Hollywood's jack-of-all-trades, Rob Reiner the latest guest in AOL's BUILD speaker series.

It's hard not to be envious of Reiner's family predisposition to superstardom. Consider that many a female fan has bid homage to Rob Reiner with a collective fake orgasm and it's safe to say the actor turned producer/writer/director has reached icon status. Reiner's career started when dad Carl cast him as Michael Stivic, from the 70s sitcom All in the Family, and one of Reiner's career highlights was directing his own mother, Estelle, who impeccably delivered one of the most famous one-liners in movie history, "I'll have what she is having."

In the Reiner clan, success is the rule not the exception.

"If you have tapped into something that is real for you, chances are you are going to tap into something that is real for someone else." Delving into the makings of his new movie And So It Goes, Reiner reveals how his projects mirror his own life, where he commands thought-provoking pieces centered around creative expression, and most importantly, family.

An activist, Rob Reiner not only talks the talk, he walks the walk, advocating for causes closest to his heart. From gay marriage to early children development, political campaigning to supporting anti-smoking efforts, Rob Reiner simply cannot help himself from adding value to his every day: "You have to give people the pleasure of giving you."
