Police Identify Suspect In Seattle Pacific University Shooting

Aaron R. Ybarra has been identified by police as the suspected gunman in a shooting that took place Thursday afternoon at Seattle Pacific University.

Ybarra, 26, was booked into King County Jail, Seattle Police Department announced early Friday morning.

At least one victim was killed when the gunman entered the school's science and engineering building armed with a shotgun and knife, and shot three people. When the shooter tried reloading, a student building monitor used pepper spray to subdue him, then other students joined forces to disarm him.

Police do not believe Ybarra was a student at the school.
