Despite its ongoing feud with Amazon, Hachette continues to boast a strong presence on this week's Digital Book World Ebook Best-Seller List.

One reason is that the e-tailer has so far proven reluctant to extend the pricing tactics it's applied to Hachette print titles to the publisher's ebooks. Aside from a brief period when some Hachette ebooks' prices went up, Amazon has otherwise kept its discounts in effect.

That's good news for Hachette authors like James Patterson, David Baldacci and Donna Tartt, each of whose titles not only held strong but actually climbed up the rankings since last week.

The top ten best-selling ebooks for the week of May 24:

1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (Penguin Random House) -- $4.99

2. Unlucky 13 (Women's Murder Club) by James Patterson; Maxine Paetro (Hachette) -- $8.74

3. Field of Prey by John Sandford (Penguin Random House) -- $8.99

4. The Goldfinch: A Novel (Pulitzer Prize for Fiction) by Donna Tartt (Hachette) -- $7.50

5. Moving Day: A Thriller by Jonathan Stone (Amazon) -- $4.99

6. The One and Only by Emily Giffin (Penguin Random House) -- $11.84

7. The Target (Will Robie) by David Baldacci (Hachette) -- $8.99

8. The Girl Who Came Home: A Novel of the Titanic (P.S.) by Hazel Gaynor (HarperCollins) -- $1.99

9. Allegiant (Divergent series) by Veronica Roth (HarperCollins) -- $6.99

10. Insurgent (Divergent series) by Veronica Roth (HarperCollins) -- $6.99
