WATCH: Shakira Wants To Play 'Truth Or Dare'

Shakira is ready to play truth or dare.

The Colombian singer released the video to “Dare (La la la)” on Wednesday, unleashing some iconic hip shaking and dozens of dancers to the high tempo new single.

The video was shot during the summer of 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal, according Colombian newspaper El Heraldo. This means, as the star confirmed in a tweet on Thursday morning, that the singer was already expecting her first child.

“When we shot this video I was actually a month and a half pregnant with my son Milan so it was a really happy moment in my life -- it sort of matches the mood of the song and it was a very celebratory time,” Shakira tweeted out.

The song has a Spanish-language version and has also been adapted to be used for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Brazilian singer Carlinhos Brown worked with Shakira on the World Cup version.

“Dare (La la la)” was released a few months ago and has yet to reach the height of Shakira’s “Waka Waka (It’s Time For Africa),” which was a global hit and official anthem to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
