Everyone Has Their Own National Food Day, Here's How To Find Yours

We got strawberries and cream, lobster thermidor and national noodle day.

Today is National Oyster Day. We don't know why. And we don't know who proclaimed it so -- the national oyster board, maybe? It doesn't even matter that it also happens to be Cinco de Mayo. We (or the food industry) have found a way to celebrate nearly every food made on earth, by assigning each calendar day a food or two to celebrate.

Now there's an online tool that lets you know what national food day shares your very own birthday. My birthday also happens to be national strawberries and cream day. Our associate editor Alison Spiegel's is National Noodle Day. And our executive editor Kristen Aiken's is National Lobster Thermidor Day. Find out what your national food day is with this tool and let us know in the comments below.
