Before season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race concludes with its annual coronation of a new winner crowned by RuPaul himself, I thought I would check in to see which queen is winning the social media drag race. For, surprisingly enough, it is not always the winner of the actual competition who goes on to enjoy the popularity and longstanding support of a huge and enduring fan base (just ask Manila Luzon).

So which queen of the season 6 roster has captured the most hearts and minds and is well on her way to building a fan base to be proud of? Fortunately, we don't have to depend on RuPaul's preference for this because for the five remaining queens the numbers tell the tale:

Darienne Lake: Twitter followers -- 10.8 thousand and 4 thousand on Facebook

BenDeLaCrème: Twitter followers -- 22.6 thousand and 24.5 thousand on Facebook

Adore Delano: Twitter followers -- 36.5 thousand and 20.1 thousand on Facebook

Bianca Del Rio: Twitter followers -- 40.5 thousand and 24.3 thousand on Facebook

And though Bianca Del Rio sashays away with more Twitter followers, it is Australia's own Courtney Act who claims the social media crown with 35.1 thousand Twitter followers and a whopping 50.4 thousand on Facebook!

All hail the queen, Courtney Act!
