'If I Stay' Trailer Will Not Help You Get Over 'The Fault In Our Stars'

The Newest YA Novel-To-Movie That Will Make You Weep

Get ready to weep. (Again.) The latest YA novel-to-movie, "If I Stay," just got its first trailer. Starring Chloe Moretz, it's going to be a tearjerker.

Based on Gayle Forman's 2009 book by the same name, the movie follows Mia (Moretz), a young cellist who achieves her dream by getting into Julliard. She falls in love with Adam (Jamie Blackley), and then into a coma after a car crash kills her family. She then lives her life in an existential out-of-body experience, watching those around her. Mia must decide whether to live and fight through the tragedy or give up and succumb to death. Oof.

"If I Stay" is due out Aug. 22, which will give you all summer to gain the courage to go cry like a baby in a movie theater again after seeing "The Fault In Our Stars" in June.
