Quinta Da Regaleira In Portugal Is The Castle Of Our Dreams

If you're ever in the neighborhood, you have to stop by.

The neighborhood, of course, being Sintra, Portugal. And the attraction? An estate called The Quinta da Regaleira (or Regaleira Estate) which seems like something out of a fairytale.

This breathtaking estate was built by Antonio Augusto Carvalho Monteiro, who wanted to conjure up his own sort of "magic hideaway." A very expensive hideaway that is, as the estate is also known as the "Palace of Monteiro the Millionaire."

Filled with beautiful gardens, fountains and dizzying wells, the estate also contains Masonry and Knights Templar symbolism hidden throughout the architecture. Sounds like some real life Da Vinci Code to us!
