In February, Alexsandra Wright, the mother of Mathew Knowles' 4-year-old son, Nixon Alexander Knowles, revealed that she'd been forced to go on food stamps due to the music mogul’s then-outstanding debt of $32,000 in child support. Wright said she planned to pursue legal action in hopes of public assistance from Knowles, who is also the father of pop superstar Beyoncé.

Despite Wright's efforts, a judge has since granted Knowles a substantial cut in his child support payments from $12,000 a month to roughly $2,500 a month, according to a ruling obtained by the Associated Press in March. Now comes news that Wright and Nixon, Beyonce’s half-brother, are still struggling financially and are allegedly headed to a Los Angeles homeless shelter.

Wright exclusively told In Touch Weekly:

Nixon deserves to know his family, and I hope one day he will meet his sister Beyoncé ... I can't imagine how Beyoncé feels knowing she has a homeless brother. I know if I were in the same position, I would reach out. Maybe she is too busy.

While Bey has yet to respond to the situation publicly, Wright's most recent comments are a stark contrast from her February "Inside Edition" interview, where she said that she didn’t expect the world-renowned pop star to take "accountability" for the situation and raise her son, as once suggested by Mathew.

"I don't expect Beyoncé to take accountability. It's not her problem. It's not her situation," Wright said at the time. "Beyoncé and Jay Z have never attacked me. They've [never] done anything wrong to me. They've never been negative at all."
