'Supernanny' Jo Frost: There's No Justification For Spanking

When it comes to spanking, "Supernanny" star Jo Frost give clear advice: Don't do it.

Frost joined HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd for a conversation about her new book "Jo Frost's Toddler Rules: Your 5-Step Guide to Shaping Proper Behavior." When a commenter asked for her opinion on physical discipline, Frost said she sees no justification for using a hand, belt or paddle on a child.

"It's not necessary, it's not effective, it doesn't teach the child and all it does is damage the relationships in the long run," she said.
