Rick Perry Urges 'Rebellion' During CPAC Speech

Rick Perry Urges 'Rebellion'

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) pushed for rebellion while speaking at the 2014 Conservative Political Action Conference.

"It's time for a little rebellion on the battlefield of ideas!" Perry said.

Rick Perry offered high praise of his fellow Republican governors, including South Carolina's Nikki Haley, Wisconsin's Scott Walker and Florida's Rick Scott.

"What is the common denominator in these states? It's conservative governors," Perry said.

During his speech, Perry railed against blue states, extending the rhetoric he's used while visiting other states on his recent jobs tour. He also spoke out against President Barack Obama and the federal government, garnering huge applause when he requested the government "deliver the mail, preferably on time and on Saturdays."

"We don't have to accept recent history, we just need to change the presidency," Perry said.
