International Women's Day is right around the corner -- Saturday, March 8th.

Are you involved with a celebration event that still needs something... special?

This may be the answer:

One year ago, UN Women released their anthem "One Woman" at the International Women's Day celebration at the United Nations. It is the first anthem ever for a UN agency, and I'm proud to say I helped make it happen.

You could perform that song at your event.

UN Women and Hope Sings, my for-benefit music business which executive produced the song, are making the sheet music available to groups who wish to perform it. A four-part female a cappella arrangement is also available.

The recording of "One Woman," made possible by UN Women tech partner Microsoft, features 25+ acclaimed musical artists from all over the world, including Bebel Gilberto (Brazil), Anoushka Shankar (India), Angelique Kidjo (Benin), Charice (the Phillippines) and Ximena Sarinana (Mexico).

The song is perfect for group events -- such as International Women's Day celebrations. The music, by pop hit songwriter Graham Lyle ("What's Love Got To Do With It") and Somalian/British artist Clay, is extremely catchy.

And it appears the lyric (which I wrote) inspires people to sing along - when the song debuted at the launch of UN Women, the entire audience in the UN General Assembly stood and did just that.
