What is really inspiring about Jessica Lange is that she looks natural. For 64, she looks radiant and healthy and her wonderful bone structure isn't botched by Botox or overdone fillers. So, for that matter, does Charlotte Rampling, who has just become the face for NARS Cosmetics.
I hope the American Horror Story: Coven star can cast a spell on Marc Jacobs and get him to overhaul his beauty line. The Marc Jacobs Beauty Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation ($48) is claimed to be a "breakthrough gel foundation that's antiaging." Unfortunately, it doesn't even have a fairy dusting of anti-aging ingredients. Not one single one. And there's enough silicone here for a breast implant.
Anyway, I'm delighted that Jessica Lange has this new gig. I'm waiting for my other favorite 60-something, Helen Mirren, to take a crack at modeling. Which 60-something would you love to see as a new "face"?
