Mother And Son Arrested For String Of Car Break-Ins: Cops

A 73-year-old Pennsylvania mother and her 37-year-old son have something in common -- they're both accused in a string of car break-ins and thefts amounting to $25,000 in stolen items, ABC27.com reports.

Lois and Everett Pack were arrested Feb. 18 after Everett was spotted smashing two windows of a vehicle used in a sting operation, police said. Officers allege Pack and his mother were taking items from the vehicle.

The couple allegedly stole from vehicles sitting at several park & ride locations, and are suspected of several home and storage facility burglaries, in Lancaster, Chester, Dauphin and Berks counties.

The suspects were taken to Lancaster County Prison. Everett Pack is behind bars on theft and burglary charges. Lois Pack was released pending further investigation. Both may face additional charges, LancasterOnline.com reported.
