Mayim Bialik Talks 'The Big Bang Theory' Kiss And What's In Store For Amy & Sheldon

So, Amy & Sheldon Kissed. Now What?

HuffPost Live host Ricky Camilleri said it best when he asked "The Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bialik, "Why is everyone going nuts for this kiss?"

On the Feb. 6 episode of "The Big Bang Theory," Bialik's character Amy shared a surprisingly hot kiss with Sheldon (Jim Parsons), and it rocked fans of the show. "It's been a long time coming," Bialik said during an interview on HuffPost Live (above). "Jim Parsons' character started as so asexual and didn't even know if he wanted to have a relationship with this person, so it's a very big deal for him to initiate it."

But when asked if we'll see more sexy moments, Bialik said she doesn't know. "There's an episode this week where I have no scenes with Jim Parsons. We kind of let it bump along as sometimes life does."

"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays, 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
