The latest stars supposedly on the road to romance are none other than 2014 Oscar darlings Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto. The two were spotted together at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York's SoHo neighborhood Wednesday (Feb. 12), according to the New York Post.
"They were huddled at a corner table together looking very close," a witness told Page Six.
Both were in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week.
Nyong'o and Leto have been spotted together at various events this awards season. They hung out at the Weinstein Company & Netflix's 2014 SAG after-party at West Hollywood's Sunset Tower. They were also seen side-by-side at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards and posed together on the red carpet at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in NYC in December.
Whether or not they're just friends or more than that, the Yale-educated Nyong'o, 30, and the hunky Leto, 42, would certainly make quite the couple. She even told New York Mag she considers him one of her professional idols.
Page Six also claimed Nyong'o had an on-set fling with her "12 Years A Slave" co-star, Chiwetel Ejiofor, but that it fizzled after they wrapped. The "Dallas Buyers Club" star has been linked to a bevy of famous beauties, including supermodel Anne V, Scarlett Johansson and Cameron Diaz.
Of course, Hollywood dating rumors can turn out to be nothing but fluff, like that time Leto was supposedly dating Taylor Swift.
