Lea Michele has released a moving new song dedicated to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.
The "Glee" star said the song had been one of Monteith's favorites before his death last year of a drug overdose at the age of 31.
On it, Michele sings:
And I told you all my dreams and fears
And you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears
And you said those three words I'd been waiting for
You became a part of me, yeah
"It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory," she told Elle in November. "It was ours. When I think of him, I play this."
The song will be featured on Michele's new album, "Louder," which drops on March 4. But on Monday, she took to Twitter to tell fans they could listen to it now.
"Louder" also contains a song called "Cannonball" that Michele said helped her cope with Monteith's death, MTV News reported last December. Another tune, "If You Say So," refers to the last words she heard from him.
"It's a very personal and it's a very intense song for me," she told MTV News.
Ironically, "You're Mine" almost didn't make the album. Michele told Elle that when the label asked if she wanted to add anything else to the album, she realized she had to include the song.
"I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't,'" she said.
