These days, our knowledge of celebrities too often originates with paparazzi images and snarky quotes by anonymous "insiders." After a while, it's easy to forget that stars are real people. That's why HuffPost Celebrity decided to launch the all-new #nofilter, a quick-fire question-and-answer series. Because how well do you know someone until they've shared their guiltiest pleasures?

Bar Refaeli is one of the most recognized supermodels in the world. The Israeli beauty has posed for Garnier, Escada, The Gap, Samsung, Moët & Chandon, True Religion, just to name a few, and has appeared on the covers of magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Glamour, Maxim, and Harper's Bazaar. Not to mention she covered the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and hosted the first season of "The X Factor Israel," which debuted in 2013.

Refaeli is also known for dating the Oscar-nominated actor Leonardo DiCaprio, whom she ended things with in 2011 after almost six years together. But the 28-year-old model obviously has no hard feelings toward her ex, considering she told The Huffington Post that she did see his latest flick, "The Wolf of Wall Street."

The blond beauty, who will be hosting the first night of the 11th Annual "Leather & Laces" Two-Night Party At Super Bowl XLVIII alongside Brooklyn Decker in New York City on Jan. 31, dished about her latest movie trips, fears and more for HuffPost Celebrity's #nofilter challenge.

When's the last time you cried?
This is sad, but when I went to visit a girl I knew in the hospital before she died. She passed away.

What's your guiltiest pleasure?
French fries.

What's the silliest thing you've ever lied about?
I’m the wrong person to ask! Lying is one of my most important things not to do. I won’t do it, I’m not a big liar.

If you could commit a crime and get away with it, what would it be?
Probably break into Barneys and steal everything they have. All of their bags and shoes!

What's one thing you do when you're alone that you wouldn't do in front of someone else?
Cook. I’m not the biggest cook and I don’t practice a lot because I travel, so I’m embarrassed to do it in front of people. I’d rather do it alone than in front of someone.

What happens in your recurring dream?
I used to have a dream where I’m a little girl, hanging on top of a really tall tree and falling, like when you’re on a rollercoaster. And I love rollercoasters so I miss that one. I haven’t had it in eight years probably!

Is it okay to recline your seat on an airplane?
Of course. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be there.

When do you feel most anxious?
When I have to pack! It’s the one thing I hate more than anything. I feel anxious and overwhelmed, like, “Omg this is going to take me a long time.”

What or who is overrated right now?
I don’t know … “American Hustle.” I liked it, I liked the actors and the costumes. But the storyline is a little too boring for me. It was long and slow.

Did you see “The Wolf of Wall Street”?
I did, that’s really good. I can’t remember what else is nominated …

“12 Years A Slave,” “Her” …
I haven’t seen them yet.

Is a good friend hard to come by?
I’m so lucky in that area. I have so many good friends and good girlfriends. Especially in my line of work, it's hard to find good girlfriends. Other girls usually don’t like when you get attention. My girlfriends are so wonderful and supportive … in their souls. I am lucky because good friends are hard to find.

Describe one time you thought "This is harder than it looks."
“The X Factor.” I think that when I see these shows on TV and everything flows, you don’t think that it’s going to be long hours and a lot of time. It’s not as easy as it looks.

What are you most afraid of?
Something happening to the people I love.

When do you feel most at peace?
At home in Israel. Or on the beach, paddleboarding. It’s my meditation.

What's the most unusual thing you have in your purse/wallet?
I have toothpicks in my purse, because you never know. Especially after a movie with popcorn...

What do you hope will be invented in the next 10 years?
A cure for cancer and AIDS. And, a pill that makes you eat whatever you want and never gain weight. The first one is much more important to me though, of course.

What sense would you most be afraid to lose?
My eyesight because I’m an addict of the day. I love watching the sunset and going into the ocean and I’m overwhelmed by the colors. And to see the people I love. I appreciate nature and things around me. I sit by the beach and tell my friends, “Look at where we live! Do you appreciate this place enough?” I look around and appreciate, so losing my sight would be very hard for me.
