Theodore Lavon Upshaw Accused Of Selling Heroin At McDonalds

McDonalds Employee Allegedly Sold Heroin At Work

A McDonalds employee was arrested after allegedly something that wasn't on the menu -- heroin.

Theodore Levon Upshaw, 28, was charged Wednesday with possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver and delivery of heroin.

The arrest was made after a narcotics informant purchased heroin from the suspect in the parking lot of a McDonalds in Murrysville, Penn., WTAE-TV reported.

Mike Manko, a spokesman for the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Narcotics Enforcement Team, said the informant previously made other purchases inside the restaurant.

Upshaw was previously convicted on possession with intent to deliver, and got the job at McDonalds after being released early from the state prison in Mercer, TribLive.com reported.

Upshaw is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $50,000 straight cash bond, KDKA-TV reported.
