Thanks to Marriott, there's a new tallest hotel in America.
The 68-story hotel (nearly 753 feet) has not only a 378-room Courtyard but also a 261-room Residence Inn hotel in the building. It's the tallest hotel in the US that is not mixed use (i.e. with office or residential space). The Courtyard occupies floors 6 to 33 while the Residence Inn, which is designed for longer stays, sits on floors 37 to 65.

The hotel's fitness center has floor to ceiling windows on the 35th floor; as such, it has insane views of the City (there's also an outdoor sundeck).
The hotel, which is on Broadway and 54th street, opened to the public on Tuesday.
The world's tallest hotel, the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, stands at 1,164 feet and opened this past winter.
