Alex O'Loughlin's House On Fire In Hawaii

Explosion At 'Hawaii Five-0' Star's Honolulu Home

Honolulu firefighters were called to the home of "Hawaii Five-0" star Alex O'Loughlin yesterday.

Around 3:45 p.m., neighbors heard a loud boom from the house and saw smoke billowing from the garage. O'Loughlin wasn't home at the time, but arrived shortly after the firefighters had contained the fire.

Only the garage was damaged, but O'Loughlin told local news reporters that he lost a lot of property in the fire, including his tools, motorcycles, and surf boards. (O'Loughlin declined an on-camera interview.)

The fire department is returning to the Diamond Head neighborhood home today to investigate the cause of the fire.

O'Loughlin plays Detective Steve McGarrett on "Hawaii Five-0."
