Trail Blazers Make NBA History With 21 3-Pointers In Win Over Bobcats (VIDEO)

WATCH: Blazers Make NBA History From Behind The Arc

The Portland Trail Blazers had a historic field day from behind the arc on Thursday night in their blowout win over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Portland, the league-leader in 3-point shooting percentage, matched a franchise record by knocking down 21 shots from long range out of 33 attempts. The Blazers became the first NBA team to have two games in one season with at least 20 3-pointers, per the Associated Press. They made 21 3-pointers in a game back in December against Philadelphia.

Seven different Portland players made a 3-pointer. Damian Lillard was a perfect 6-for-6 from 3-point range, while Wesley Matthews went 5-for-6 and had a game-high 25 points.

When asked if he felt "on" during the impressive shooting performance, Matthews said he was "on" well before the game even started.

“I’m not going to lie to you, I felt ‘on’ when I woke up from my nap today. I’m not going to lie to you, but yeah, it’s contagious. Making shots is contagious," Matthews said, via NBA.com. Our crowd gets into it and our crowd is almost willing the ball in for us before we even shoot it. When that ball is flying around the perimeter like that and LA is getting double teamed and he kicks it out, it’s almost like you’re expected to make it...pitch and catch, like they say.”
