Pablo Schreiber is known as "Pornstache," the corrupt correctional officer George Mendez, on the hit Netflix show "Orange Is The New Black." Though he's used to getting press for his controversial character, the actor is now making headlines for something more personal: his legal separation from wife, Jessica.

According to TMZ, Jessica Schreiber filed for separation just before Christmas, due to irreconcilable differences. Additionally, she has asked for full custody of their two children, as well as spousal support.

Jessica, a yoga instructor, is willing to share custody or allow visitation so that the actor can maintain a relationship with his kids.

The couple has been married since 2007.

This private upset comes at the end of a year full of criticism for Schreiber, though not the serious kind. In July, the actor told Salon that the villainous roles he's played on both "Orange Is The New Black" and "Law And Order: SVU" have caused fans of the shows to be personally skeptical of him. "I think I may be one of the most hated men on Twitter right now. It’s all gonna turn around when I get back to my good guy roles, you know? Everyone’s gonna come around and realize that I’m not such an awful person, but now I’m willing to take it," he said.
