With mere hours before he's officially just another billionaire living in New York City, Mayor Michael Bloomberg unveiled his official City Hall portrait on Monday.

Painted by artist Jon R. Friedman, the portrait shows Bloomberg standing inside the bullpen at City Hall. Behind him is a crowded room filled with computers (Bloomberg terminals included), presumably to illustrate Bloomberg's self-touted legacy as a data-driven leader who ran the city like a company.

Bloomberg is painted crossing his arms, possibly smiling. Possibly.

Unfortunately, Ismena Halkiewicz's Bloomberg-as-Greek-philosopher-holding-an-owl painting was not selected as the mayor's official portrait.
