Could a small screen romance turn into real life love? That might be the case for "The Americans" co-stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys.
Earlier this month, news broke that Russell and her husband of almost seven years, Shane Deary, split. "They have been separated since early summer," the actress' rep told People magazine at the time. "The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children." They have a son, 6, and a daughter, 2.
Now People reports that Russell has moved on with her FX co-star, Rhys, and that the two were spotted shopping around her New York neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights before Christmas. "They looked very much like a couple," a source told the magazine. "They were laughing and walking closely together."
A request for comment made to Russell's reps was not immediately answered.
Russell, 39, has spoken about being married to someone outside the spotlight and admitted the celebrity lifestyle takes getting used to. "[I] think it's good that it makes him uncomfortable. I think anyone who is too comfortable with all this stuff is strange," the actress told TV Guide in 2007. "It's normal that he's uncomfortable. Like, if someone takes our picture on the street, I tell him, 'Act however you want to act. It's uncomfortable; you can look uncomfortable.'"
