Don't call us lushes, but there's a sultriness we love about wine-stained lips. The sexy tinge of color left behind after sipping on a few glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot can be utterly sexy. But if you're like us, we hate when the look starts to fade.

3. Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Cream. The cream-to-powder matte finish is what initially sold us on this lip stain. But after we noticed that our highly-pigmented pout was still intact after a few cocktails, we had to stock up. ($24, Sephora.com)
4. L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain. Ladies, when we say that this is one of the BEST drugstore lip stains, we mean it. Between the easy-to-use brush applicator, rich color, lustrous shine and wallet-friendly price tag, it's a winner. ($10, Walgreens.com)
5. IT Cosmetics Vitality Flush Stain Stick Lip & Cheek Reviver. This lip and cheek stain is way more than just a double-duty beauty product that leaves behind a natural flush. It's made with hydrating ingredients like plum oil, jojoba and sheer butter, plus it contains vitamins A, C, E, acai and green tea, which are rich in anti-aging antioxidants. ($24, Ulta.com)
6. Pixi Lip Blush. We get nostalgic using this lip stain with its felt-tip brush -- it takes us back to our elementary school days. However, the translucent wash of color that it leaves behind without drying out our lips makes us feel and look like grown-ups. ($18, Target.com)
7. Benefit Cosmetics Liquid Benetint. This cult classic is the secret behind some of our sexiest stained-lip-and-cheek looks. When using Benetint, keep in mind that a little goes a long way. So keep a light hand when handling this bottle. ($30, Sephora.com)
8. Vincent Longo Lip & Cheek Gel Stain. To get the most color payoff from this gel stain, be sure to dab it on to moisturized lips. The results? A lit-from-within glow that will make your co-workers' heads turn. ($23, VincentLongo.com)
9. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain. All we want for Christmas (well, maybe not all we want) is for our stockings to be filled with this luxe lip stain. The amazing range of shades makes it difficult to choose just one. So we'd take any of these long-lasting lip colors to dress up our holiday party outfit. ($34, Nordstrom.com)
10. Hourglass Aura Sheer Lip Stain. For those of you who want to ease your way into lip stains, this water-based formula from Hourglass dries down to a sheer color that you can build up to perfect your desired intensity. ($26, HourglassCosmetics.com)
