Tulsa Shooting: 4 People Dead, One Injured In Home, Suspect On The Loose

4 Dead In Home Shooting; Suspect On The Loose

Four people are dead and one person is injured after a shooting in a Tulsa, Okla. home Saturday night, police say.

The suspect, who entered through the back door of the home where several people were gathered, is still on the loose, KJRH reports.

A man and a woman in their 30s were pronounced dead at the scene, and two others died at the hospital. The remaining victim is a 55-year-old man in serious condition, KTUL reports. Several others at the scene, including children, were reportedly uninjured.

Police say they arrived at the home at about 7:15 p.m. to find people screaming for help. The back door of the home was open. They told Tulsa World that the victims were shot by the lone gunman at close range. No motive was immediately released, but the suspect is believed to be familiar with the victims and the residence.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s, about 5-foot-10 to 6-feet-tall, with a medium build. Witnesses said they heard a car speeding away after the shooting.

The home was the scene of several drug arrests within the past year, police said.

Anyone with more information about the shooting can call detectives on the Homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477 or send an email to homicide@cityoftulsa.org.

Clarification: An earlier version of this story misreported the suspect's minimum height as 5-foot-1. Police say the suspect is between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet-tall.
