Jason Ritter Returning To 'Parenthood'

'Parenthood' Plans Big Return

Jason Ritter is returning to "Parenthood." The Emmy nominee will pop up in Episode 19, slated to air in April, according to TVLine.

As of now, Ritter is only signed for one episode.

Ritter was last seen on "Parenthood" in Season 4 when Sarah (Lauren Graham) ended her relationship with Mark (Ritter). Ritter then signed on to star opposite Graham's "Gilmore Girls" co-star Alexis Bledel in Fox's "Us & Them." The midseason Fox comedy had its episode order cut, freeing Ritter up to return to "Parenthood."

"It's very weird," Ritter recently told The Huffington Post of having "Gilmore Girls" stars Graham and Bledel as love interests on two separate shows. "And Scott Patterson [Luke on 'Gilmore'] played my father on another show, so I'm slowly making my way through every single 'Gilmore Girls' cast member."

"Parenthood" airs Thursdays, 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
