A new tabloid report claims Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are living apart, but the story seems a bit blown out of proportion.
InTouch reports that Kardashian is living in Kris Jenner's Calabasas, Calif., mansion with baby North, while West has been staying at his "bachelor pad" in the Hollywood Hills.
“There’s too much chaos at Kris’ house for Kanye,” a supposed friend of the reality star told the mag. "Kanye is working all of the time ... Kanye will come over to Kris’ for a few hours, but then goes back to his place," and he allegedly won't stay overnight.
While InTouch is apparently trying to make it seem like there is trouble in paradise for the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and her fiance, we doubt there are any problems in the relationship.
The "Yeezus" rapper is not holding onto the house as some sort of bachelor pad (despite what InTouch labeled it). He has been trying to sell the mansion since February, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and dropped the price to $2.95 million in September. His absence from the Jenner household might simply be due to his ongoing tour.
Kardashian was seen leaving West's Hollywood Hills home with baby Nori on Tuesday (Nov. 12), so clearly the two are spending nights together. Kimye are likely just balancing their schedules and waiting it out until construction on their $11 million Bel Air abode is finished.
The engaged couple is even considering building a second home, according to TMZ. Kardashian and West were spotted looking for land last weekend, specifically a 10-acre plot nestled in a secluded section of Bel Air, where they could build a mega-mansion but sill have tons of privacy. Sources told the website if they purchase the land, which costs $10 million, they will eventually sell their other Bel Air home.
