Downtown Manhattan looked a century younger today, thanks to Cinemax's new series, "The Knick."

The 10-episode series is set in New York during the early 1900s and centers around the lives of the surgeons and nurses at the Knickerbocker Hospital. It stars Clive Owen and is directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Check out the photos below from New York residents who traveled back in time when they stepped out of their apartment buildings this morning (Nov. 6).

No premiere date for "The Knick" has been set.
