Megan Fox Makes Cameo In 'Call Of Duty: Ghosts' Trailer

Megan Fox Is A Sharpshooter For 'Call Of Duty'

Megan Fox is a sexy sharpshooter in the new live-action trailer of "Call of Duty: Ghosts," due out Nov. 5.

The trailer, titled "Epic Night Out," features four friends journeying through a ruined Last Vegas. Frank Sinatra's “I’m Gonna Live Till I Die" plays in the background as a continuation of the "Call of Duty" theme “There’s a Soldier in All of Us," Variety reports.

The spot, directed by James Mangold (best known for films like "The Wolverine" and "Walk the Line"), was shot over seven days on the Warner Bros. lot, according to AdWeek. Fox makes a brief-yet-memorable appearance near the 35-second mark as a gun-toting beauty who saves the day for one young solider.

"I think an important question with these [ads] is: At what point might a famous personality overshadow the story we're trying to tell, or the connection we're trying to make? This year it's four guys you probably haven't seen, even though they've had roles in Hollywood," Glenn Cole, chief creative officer of 72andSunny ad agency, told AdWeek.

In regard to Fox, who is the first female celebrity to land a spot in a "Call of Duty" ad, Cole said: "She's fun, she's sexy, she's cool, she's badass, she's recognizable around the world. And the role was fun."

The 27-year-old actress promoted the trailer on her Facebook page Saturday. The post has since received more than 200,000 "likes."

Live-action ads are meant to bring the game to life. Player immersion is something the the video game creators pride themselves on, and "Call of Duty: Ghosts" is supposed to be intense.

"It’s a more immersive experience when playing the game — thanks to the video and audio and animations that are at a higher level to pull the gamer in," senior producer Yale Miller told CBS News. "For example, there’s full underwater combat with a realism that we can now do in a way we couldn’t ever do before; now it can really feel like you’re there in the midst of what’s going on — it’s just amazing."
