Packers tight end Jermichael Finley took a shot at the NFL on Twitter after being fined for "unnecessarily striking a defenseless player" against Baltimore last Sunday.

Finley will appeal the fine, per Mike Vandermause of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

“I really don’t care about it, but just the fact that if it was a play where I was trying to do it, I’d take the fine, but I won’t take it,” Finley said after practice on Friday, via ESPN Wisconsin. “It was first quarter. It was a good (hit), too."
