Mia McGhee Attempts Extreme Couponing On '6 Little McGhees' (VIDEO)

WATCH: How A Sextuplet Mom Shops On A Budget

With 2-year-old sextuplets to care for, parents Mia and Rozonno McGhee have become pros at shopping on a budget. But after seeing the success of extreme couponing on television, money-conscious Mia says she is determined to offset the costs of feeding her family of eight.

"The budget's $200," Mia tells Rozonno in the above clip from "6 Little McGhees" on OWN. "Stick with it."

In the video, the couple attempt to conquer their local grocery store in Columbus, Ohio. They get off to a rocky start -- Rozonno is more interested in trying free samples, while Mia is baffled by the coupon's fine print. "It's a little confusing because it’s so detailed," she says.

After packing the shopping cart full, the couple head to checkout to find out if they've stuck to their budget.

"Heading towards the cashier and I'm like, 'Okay, I think we got this,'" Mia says.

But as item after item is scanned, the total creeps up to the $200 limit ... and keeps going, up to $300.

"Over the budget," Mia says, shaking her head. "This is not good."

"6 Little McGhees" airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. ET on OWN.
