Kaley Cuoco admits her quickie engagement to tennis player Ryan Sweeting "seems a little crazy," but it works!
Cuoco and Sweeting confirmed they are engaged to Us Weekly on Sept. 26. A source close to the "Big Bang Theory" star told the magazine she had only been seeing him for three months, but already knew he was The One.
"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic," Cuoco told "Entertainment Tonight" on Monday. "We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."
So, how did he pop the question? Apparently, Sweeting started a little fight with the 27-year-old before the surprise proposal. But, at the end of the night, he popped the ring out and "it was amazing."
Cuoco hasn't been shy about displaying her engagement ring since announcing the happy news. The bauble is a 2.5-carat dazzler from Red C Jewels that cost Sweeting a whopping $65,000, according to E! news. It features a halo setting with an eternity diamond band.
It's unclear if the two have a date set yet, but the actress might have her own nuptials on the mind as she films "The Wedding Ringer."
