Anyone who says grown men don't cry clearly never met Steve Ballmer.

On Thursday, the Microsoft CEO got visibly emotional when he said goodbye to thousands of employees at his last companywide meeting. This August, Ballmer announced his plan to retire from Microsoft within 12 months.

Referring to Microsoft as his fourth child, Ballmer thanked his employees and told them that they work for the "greatest company in the world." In fact, Ballmer was so emotional during his farewell that he made the very sappy decision to depart the meeting to the song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from the finale of "Dirty Dancing."

We have to admit, Ballmer's goodbye was surprisingly heartwarming. That said, we can't help but be a little upset that he didn't throw in a little dance like this before exiting the stage:
