'Blue Is The Warmest Color' Trailer Is The Coolest

NC-17 Lesbian Love Movie Gets First Trailer

The first trailer for Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or winner "Blue Is The Warmest Color" includes everything from Beach House's "Take Care," to the real sense that Adele Exarchopoulos is the breakout star everyone is saying, to a blurb from Cannes Film Festival jury president Steven Spielberg. "Magnificent. We were under the spell of the film and its wonderful actresses." Not included, beyond a second or two? The graphic 10-minute sex scene that Exarchopoulos and co-star Léa Seydoux share in the film's midsection.

"At Cannes, all of our families were there in the theater so during the sex scenes I'd close my eyes," Exarchopoulos said of the controversial scene in an interview with The Daily Beast. "[Director Abdellatif Kechiche] told me to imagine it's not me, but it's me, so I'd close my eyes and imagined I was on an island far away, but I couldn't help but listen, so I didn’t succeed in escaping. The scene is a little too long."
