Andy Herren Wins 'Big Brother 15'

Who Won 'Big Brother'?

Andy Herren is the winner of "Big Brother" Season 15, beating out GinaMarie Zimmerman and Spencer Clawson to earn the $500,000 prize.

It was a long road to winning CBS' summer series -- the final Head of Household competition was played in three parts. GinaMarie won the first competition, while Andy won the second and third rounds, choosing to take GinaMarie to the Final Two instead of Spencer.

When the jury grilled Andy and Spencer, Andy answered the eliminated houseguests' questions confidently, while GinaMarie stumbled over her answers.

"I know that I stabbed everyone in the back," Andy admitted while answering the jurors' questions about why he should be awarded the money. "I appreciate a good game … I'm sorry I had to backstab all of you because I love all of you and I'm not a terrible person, I promise!"

The jury vote came down 7-2 in Andy's favor, with only Judd and Aaryn voting for GinaMarie to win. Elissa Slater was voted America's Favorite Houseguest and won $25,000. The runners up were Judd and Howard.

"Big Brother 15" was described as the most controversial season yet, and some of the contestants' racist, sexist and homophobic comments resulted in two members of the final three being fired from their jobs while still in the house. GinaMarie was fired from her job as a pageant coordinator in July and Andy was reportedly fired from his college teaching job earlier this week, while Spencer's employer publicly spoke out against some of the contestant's derogatory comments. Fellow houseguest Aaryn Gries was also fired as a result of her bigoted remarks.

Are you pleased that Andy won "Big Brother 15"?
