'NCIS': Emily Wickersham Cast As Ziva's Successor, Bishop, In Season 11

Is This Ziva's Replacement?

Wickersham will appear for a three episode arc that has a series regular option attached if the character proves successful, and will reportedly make her debut during November sweeps, according to E! Online.

Bishop is described as "bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism. She’s traveled extensively, but only feels comfortable at home.”

Perhaps best known for her role as Rhiannon, A.J.’s girlfriend in the final season of "The Sopranos," Wickersham is currently recurring on FX's "The Bridge."

While fans are still getting to grips with Ziva's "NCIS" exit, co-star Michael Weatherly assures viewers that de Pablo's final two episodes will be "immensely satisfying," admitting that Tony's storyline following Ziva's departure is “the most exciting thing I’ve heard in a long time."

Season 11 of "NCIS" premieres on Tues., Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
