The wedding of James Meade and Lady Laura Marsham (daughter of the eighth Earl of Romney), was no casual affair. Held in King’s Lynn, England, the ceremony included gorgeous dresses, beautiful hats and some notable attendees.
Prince William, Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton were all seen at the wedding, but Kate and new baby George were sorely missed. Though the Duchess has begun making appearances since the birth of her son, she has still not become a regular fixture at events.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge count Lady Marsham and James Meade as close friends (Prince William was an usher at the ceremony), so Kate's absence seemed a little strange. (Perhaps Middleton's outing earlier this week to the Tusk Trust Awards tuckered the new mom out?)
Either way, we're always happy to see some royals, even if it doesn't include them all.
