Beth Blake, Designer, And Husband Corbin Day's Sag Harbor Home Is 'Granny Chic' (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: 'We Wanted It To Feel Like Your Grandmother Lived There'

There aren't many people who can pull off a "granny chic" style at home. But leave it to "Tread" fashion designer, Beth Blake and her husband Corbin Day to make their Sag Harbor, New York house a beautiful mixture of old fashioned fabrics and seaside decor. The two opened the door of their 1840s home to Domaine Home, who shared a peek inside with us.

"We wanted it to feel like your grandmother lived there—but a grandmother who had really great taste," Blake said. In order to achieve the look, she went with a floral-patterned couch, sailboat-printed wallpaper and a needlepoint deer head that somehow blends effortlessly. Unlike our grandparents' places, this home doesn't have many knickknacks. The easy flow of the space allows the over-the-top theme to be appreciated.
