Situated on Maui's north shore, Peahi -- also lovingly called "Jaws" -- has been named among the most dangerous waves in the world.

"Of all the big waves in the world, I think it has the most velocity,” professional big wave surfer Mark Healey recently told National Geographic. “It just moves faster and hits harder. Rescue situations with the Jet Skis are very difficult because the liquid avalanche ends in a 300-foot cliff.”

Below, check out 7 surfers totally owning the behemoth, then pick your jaw up off the floor.
