OOPS: Rick Perry Can't Remember What State He's In

Add another forgetful moment to Texas Gov. Rick Perry's list of gaffes.

The Dallas Morning News reported Saturday that Perry appeared at a RedState conference in New Orleans, discussing visions for America's future. In the process, he struggled with the vision of where he was.

“There are many other states that embrace those conservative values, the approach we’ve taken over the years," Perry said, according to the paper. "I’m in one today – Florida.”

“We’re in Louisiana,” an onlooker yelled back.

Perry infamously blanked at a Nov. 2011 Republican presidential debate, failing to remember the three organizations he promised to eliminate if elected.

"I would do away with the Education, the, uh, Commerce, and, let's see," Perry stammered. "I can't. The third one I can't. Sorry. Oops."

Perry announced in early July that he was not seeking reelection as Texas governor. In mid-March, Perry added that he would decide in late 2013 on a possible 2016 presidential run.
