Howard is physically the biggest target on "Big Brother," and he knows it. So he was very concerned that his time had come when he was put on the block by Aaryn this week. In the latest episode, he decided to call a house meeting so he could lay out some "realness" to the houseguests in the hopes of convincing them to keep him.
What he accomplished instead was laying out some confusing rhetoric that did very little to help his case, and may have sealed his fate. “People say I’m hard to understand, but I have no idea what Howard’s talking about," Judd said in a confessional later.
As an example, no one could be expected to follow this train of thought: “When it’s, ya know, pick that or whatever, whatnot, or said, not real, and I haven’t even said or acted in a way..."
He also left them with this confusing thought. "If somebody does say something, if it doesn’t hurt your game, just say, that is not what I would do.”
All in all, no one understood what he was talking about. Zap2It's Andrea Reiher said that his speech was just as incoherent on the live feeds -- so editing couldn't even save it. John Kubicek, writing for Buddy TV, wondered how anyone could see Howard as a threat after that mess of a plea.
“Amanda, McCrae, Andy and Judd meet up to talk about how confusing it all was and they have no idea what Howard is thinking or who he's targeting. Which I guess is a good thing?" Kubicek wrote. "I'm just kind of scratching my head about the whole thing, because Howard doesn't seem to be a real threat to anyone since no one understands him and he never wins anything.”
Howard faces elimination alongside his "showmance" Candice and America's nominee, Amanda. People in the house see Amanda as someone who's playing a very aggressive game, which could be good for Howard. Find out who goes home live on Thursday night.
