'B Entrepreneurs' Join The 'B Team' To Focus On People And Planet Before Profit (VIDEO)

WATCH: The Big Thing Missing In The Business Sector

From Romania to Japan to Brazil, the idea of prioritizing people, planet and then profit resonates strongly with business leaders.

The "B Entrepreneurs," a group of young innovators from around the world, have created a video highlighting their unified front in using business as a force for good.

"Our present challenge is to develop profitable businesses that will also [be] drivers of positive social impact," said Estelle Rinaudo, co-founder of Amuseworld.net, which introduces young girls to inspiring global role models.

The video participants have launched ventures aimed at providing health care for people in need, democratizing education, empowering women, as well as tackling other critical global issues.

The video is in response to the B Team initiative, recently launched by Sir Richard Branson, founder and chairman of Virgin Group, and Jochen Zeitz, director of Kering and former CEO of Puma. The group aims to reshape the vision of capitalism and urges businesses to take a more socially responsibly approach, prioritizing people and planet over profit.

B-Team leaders include Arianna Huffington, Chair, President & Editor In Chief of The Huffington Post Media Group; Kathy Calvin, President and CEO of the United Nations Foundation; Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever and many others.

The "B Entrepreneurs" in the video say the support from high-profile business leaders will help validate their missions.

"We face this challenge daily when we hear that we are too crazy, too idealistic, too innocent, too young," the video participants say in round-robin fashion.

The "B Entrepreneurs" say they are going about business as anything but usual, with or without the help of NGOs and governments. Below are some of their specific missions:

"We create new medical tools for disadvantaged communities."

"We help to source environmentally friendly materials."

"We challenge people to think and act out of their comfort zone."
